Experience:

Greg worked for Ciba Speciality Chemical PLC for 11 years, 4 of which were spent in a laboratory testing the fire and explosion properties of chemicals. This testing included performing dust explosions, self-heating tests for bulk storage, flashpoint determination and shock sensitivity tests.

Greg joined Burgoynes in 2006 and he has undertaken over 700 investigations. These include fires, explosions and other incidents arising from the physical and chemical properties of substances, electrical faults, mechanical failures and the failure of safety systems and control systems, and chemical contamination assessments. Greg has marine investigation experience, including super-yachts, ro-ro vessels, container carriers and gas carriers. Greg also has experience in the preparation of reports for courtroom purposes and has given evidence in connection with criminal proceedings.
