Daniel Jackson, a Partner in our Stevenage office, is a contributory author of a recent circular published by the International Group of P&I Clubs entitled ‘Carriage of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI)’.  Additional input was provided by INTERCARGO.  The circular discusses direct reduced iron Type D (by-product fines with a moisture content of at least 2%), which was added to the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargo (IMSBC) Code from January 2025.  The full technical article is available in the following link Carriage of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI)
