Burgoynes are incredibly proud to support the RNLI as our chosen charity for the next two years.

The RNLI’s volunteer lifeboat crews are on call 24/7, ready to save lives at sea across the UK and Ireland, while their dedicated lifeguards help keep our beaches safe during the busiest months. 

Since 1824, they’ve rescued over 146,000 people – and they don’t stop there.

Beyond their life-saving missions, the RNLI is passionate about prevention.  Their Community Safety teams educate and equip people with the knowledge to stay safe on the water, and their international teams work tirelessly to combat drowning in high-risk communities around the world.

Burgoynes will be specifically supporting the Newbiggin-by-the-Sea lifeboat station, which occupies the oldest lifeboat boathouse in the UK, dating back to 1851.  The station and its crews operate an Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat and we hope that our donation helps to maintain this valuable service in the local area.
