Burgoynes are pleased to announce that on 1 April 2024 Russell Cooper (left), James May (centre) and Jim Mercurio (right) were promoted to Partner.  

Russell is a fire investigator based in our Cardiff office and south-west England, having previously worked in Manchester and Dubai.  Russell is experienced in the investigation of fires on land and involving marine casualties.  James is based in our Kenilworth office and is a materials scientist who investigates cases involving engineering component failures and fracture analysis.  Jim is a chemist and a chartered scientist working out of our Dubai office, having previously worked from the Kenilworth office.  He specialises in the investigation of fires and explosions, including marine casualties and cargo incidents.  Congratulations to all three on joining the Partnership.
