Burgoynes is pleased to be a sponsor of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, Property Special Interest Group.  It was Burgoynes' first time exhibiting at the CILA Annual Conference, held on 14 September 2023 at the Concorde Centre in Manchester.  

Paul Jowett, a Partner at our Manchester office, gave a presentation on ‘Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS); technologies, claims and future trends’ alongside Paul Redington from Zurich Insurance, Alasdair Boyle from Global Risk Solutions and Brad Davis from Envista Forensic.  

Amanda Lewis, a fire investigator at the Manchester office, and colleague Sally Vong were also at the conference to represent Burgoynes.

The event was a great opportunity to bring together the claims professionals from the loss adjusting industry to network, discuss and share ideas and experiences.  We even had the opportunity to board the Concorde G-BOAC.
