Last month, Dr Jon Sykes, a Partner based in our Singapore office, and Chris Kenyon-Edwards, an Associate based in our Hong Kong office, attended the AICLA Asia Claims Convention 2023 at JW Marriott, Bangkok.  

The theme for the event was “Claims in a Post-Pandemic World”, being the first ACC event since April 2019.  The convention examined the challenges facing those in Insurance Claims and looked at the best practices across the industry with a focus on Asia.  Dr Jon Sykes gave a presentation on “The Investigation of Failures in the Chemical and Process Industries”. 

The two-day convention and gala dinner was very well attended by more than 200 delegates from across the Asia Pacific region, with representatives including regional loss adjusters and insurance claims managers.  Burgoynes were proud to be a Gold Sponsor at the event.
