At the end of December 2022, Danny Pointon retired as a Partner in Burgoynes. Danny joined Burgoynes in January 1991 and he initially worked in the London and Singapore offices before moving to the Glasgow office.  Danny has investigated various high profile cases over the years, on land and involving marine casualties, giving evidence in courts around the world.  He has also become established as a lecturer in forensic fire investigation, delivering tuition for academic courses and to other organisations. 

Danny has made a significant contribution and commitment to the Partnership, notably holding the role of Personnel Member for the last five and a half years.  Burgoynes will continue to benefit from Danny’s knowledge and experience as he will remain in the Glasgow office as a Consultant.  We wish Danny a happy retirement.
