On 14 September 2022, Dr Paul Jowett, a Partner based at our Manchester office, gave a presentation at a CPD accredited Security Seminar organised by the Insurance Institute of Manchester (IIM).  This was the first ‘in-person’ IIM seminar to take place since lockdown, and was held at the Friend’s Meeting House, opposite the iconic Manchester Central Library.  The subject of Paul’s talk was “The Forensic Investigation of Breaking and Entering”, during which he gave a number of case studies where forensic examination of forced entries demonstrated they had been faked. 

Paul’s talk complemented those given by the other speakers who provided presentations to the audience of insurance industry professionals on the latest developments in CCTV technology, security doors/rooms, and private security consultants.
