On the evening of 4 July 2022, Dr Paul Jowett, a Partner based in Burgoynes’ Manchester office, attended the 2022 ALARM Risk Awards dinner, held at the Kimpton Clocktower, Manchester.  ALARM is a not-for-profit professional membership association that has supported risk management professionals for nearly 30 years.  The dinner was described by the organisers as “a Gatsby-esque soiree, embracing the art deco and flapper style the twenties is famous for”.  The attendees did not disappoint and entered into the spirit of the theme, as the photograph illustrates. The awards were hosted by comedienne Lucy Porter, with winners chosen from risk management teams across the public sector.

As well as attending the annual dinner, Burgoynes donated a pair of Apple AirPods for a raffle prize on the evening.
