Tuesday 5th October

Mark Slater – Partner, Basingstoke Office

Mark joined Burgoynes in 2000 and became a Partner in 2008. Since joining Burgoynes, Mark has been continuously engaged in the investigation of fires, explosions and incidents of electrical failures. He has undertaken over 1200 investigations and has been required to attend criminal, civil and Coroners’ Courts to provide expert testimony. During his time with Burgoynes, he has investigated many cases in the UK and incidents in several European countries and internationally.

Nick Davison – Associate, London Office

Nick joined Burgoynes as an Associate in 2018, specialising in mechanical and materials related failures. Nick regularly undertakes cases involving escapes of water or other fluids; mechanical failure, corrosion, fatigue, product liability issues and personal injuries.

Wednesday 6th October

Ian Griffiths – Partner, London Office

Ian joined Burgoynes as an Associate in 2004 and became a Partner in 2014.  Ian has conducted investigations of over 1000 incidents including fires, explosions, mechanical failures and personal injuries. These have been in domestic, commercial, industrial and marine environments, both in the UK and overseas. Marine experience includes engine room and shipyard fires.

Richard Durnford – Associate, London Office

Richard joined Burgoynes in 2010 and has investigated road traffic collisions and incidents of a mechanical engineering nature. He regularly prepares CPR 35 compliant reports and joint statements. He has also provided advice to counsel and presented evidence in court as an expert witness.

Burgoynes team will be at Stand #74 to answer any questions on the day and meet with all the delegates and exhibitors.
