Burgoynes was pleased to take part in the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation 2nd International Step-Up Challenge, which took place over six weeks, from 29 March to 9 May 2021.  Burgoynes entered two teams of ten competitors, comprising investigators and support staff from our eight offices around the UK.   Individuals and teams competed against each other to see who could achieve the most steps over the six weeks!  There were 1777 teams in the challenge; Burgoynes Team #1 (530,277 steps) and Team #2  (528,275 steps) finished a respectable 22nd and 23rd place overall.  

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation is a unique non-profit organisation that improves the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people by working together as an industry in grant giving, volunteering and leadership.  The individual or team with the most steps was invited to choose a charity to receive a small grant.

All of the Burgoynes employees who took part in the challenge thoroughly enjoyed themselves and got active in the process.  We are proud to support such a good cause.
