Burgoynes would like to welcome Jason Sanderson and Amanda Lewis, who have both joined the team of fire and explosion investigators.

Jason joined Burgoynes in June 2019.  Having completed his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jason spent six years in the mining industry and was based at a number of different sites in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. During this time he gained experience investigating mechanical failures, electrical and control failures and health and safety incidents and developed extensive knowledge about the operation and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment and fixed plant. Jason is based in our Stevenage office.

Amanda joined in September 2019 and is based in our Manchester office.  Amanda has an academic background in physics and nanotechnology and then worked in the automotive sector as a materials scientist. Her role included conducting failure analysis investigations, assessing conformance to international standards, and collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to resolve technical issues with parts and processes.’
