Experience:
Luke’s PhD research on surfaces and coatings was sponsored by Dow Corning and led directly to the formation of a subsidiary company, Dow Corning Plasma Solutions. Luke joined Burgoynes in 2009.
He investigates fires, explosions and break-ins throughout the UK. These incidents have been in a variety of domestic, commercial and industrial environments and have required the consideration of electrical, mechanical, chemical and human causal mechanisms.
