Experience:
Gerald completed his Engineering Doctorate on Metal Matrix Composites in 2016, developing expertise in pressure vessel design and advanced manufacturing techniques used within the aerospace industry. He subsequently joined a start-up and worked on novel flywheel technology, overseeing the mechanical design and stress-analysis until 2018, at which point he joined Burgoynes.
Since joining Burgoynes, Gerald has been involved in a variety of cases involving aspects of mechanical and material failure. These include escapes of water/oil, glass fractures and personal injury cases. He has also investigated a range of traffic cases, including collision reconstructions, vehicle inspections and component failures and regularly prepares CPR 35 compliant reports.
