Experience:

Chris completed his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. He then spent four years working at GE Power Conversion as a Power Systems Engineer, specialising in marine power systems. Chris spent 2 years within GE Power Conversion’s Naval Division, where he completed a project involving a large battery energy storage system. Chris gained extensive knowledge in battery energy storage systems, large rotating machines, and high-power distribution equipment for the marine industry.

Chris joined Burgoynes in 2018 as a Forensic Investigator specialising in fires and electrical failures. He has undertaken numerous investigations involving fires and electrical failures in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
