Andrea Moss, a secretary in the Burgoynes London office, wanted to say thank you for the great work the hospital had done treating and monitoring her young son over the past 4 years. What better way than fundraising! On May 16th 2015 she took part in a 14km Nuclear Race with her YMCA group in order to raise funds for the hospital. A Nuclear race is a tough gritty obstacle race over varied, undulating terrain with man-made obstacles and lots of mud.

Andrea finished the race in just under 4 hours, a fantastic result that needed 6 months of regular training. She raised nearly £1200 including £500 donated by Burgoynes as part of its match funding promise for charitable causes.

Well done Andrea!

The Great Ormond Street Hospital is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Since its formation in 1852, the hospital has been dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses.
