Experience:
Will graduated with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bath in 2015. He was then employed as a Structural Engineer at a design consultancy based in London, where he worked for 9 years. During this time, Will gained a broad range of experience which included; the design of large scale buildings in steel, concrete, masonry and timber; temporary works designs; the appraisal and alteration of existing structures; overseeing the delivery of projects throughout the construction phase, and; project management, including leading multidisciplinary teams.
He became a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers in 2024, and joined Burgoynes as an Associate in 2025. He has since investigated engineering issues which include; failures and collapses of structures; damage during construction works; storm damage; flooding and water ingress into buildings, and; deterioration of structures including timber condition issues.
