Experience:
Iain worked as a mechanical engineer with Babcock International for five years. In his various roles there, he gained experience in project management, commissioning mechanical equipment, writing standard and emergency operating procedures for assets in a nuclear facility and berthing submarines.
Since joining Burgoynes in 2022, Iain has investigated over 80 incidents involving fires, mechanical failures and personal injuries. Incidents investigated include fires involving domestic and industrial equipment, escapes of oil, structural weld failures, the failure of access systems and the release of toxic substances.
