After graduating, Graham spent 2 years working for the Motor Industry Research Association (MIRA) where he managed a variety of testing and research projects for the automotive, motor sport, rail and aircraft industries. He joined Burgoynes’ Manchester office in 2004 and moved to the Glasgow office in 2006.
While working for Burgoynes, Graham has investigated several hundred incidents throughout the UK and Ireland, involving fires, explosions and other accidents, such as personal injury and paint spillages. He has also investigated fires in domestic buildings, industrial premises, and a variety of plant and vehicles, including agricultural equipment and railway vehicles. He has dealt with a number of deliberate fires, as well as those caused by defective systems of work and defective design, installation and maintenance of electrical appliances and equipment.
Graham's work with Burgoynes has included conducting detailed investigations, preparing reports and presenting expert testimony in court.
